The Glass House (2012)

The selected works brought together in The Glass House installation explore the grey area in between the front of the (computer)screen and the dematerialized world that lays behind it. The area in between being inside and outside, in between image and space or in between window and frame. The installation explores the convergence between image, screen, frame and window and in a way, the voyeurism that comes with it. The installation functions like a transpositional space, a grey area in between two worlds, where the gaze outside is determined by distorted, manipulated or converted media. It's like entering a world in which no choice has been made, where the only thing left to do is to watch, to observe, to gaze.
